Interactive Avatar Map, Talent Pavilion at the Singapore FinTech Festival 2022

The Singapore FinTech Festival is the largest FinTech festival in the world and a knowledge platform for the global FinTech community. The seventh edition of the Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF), which concluded on 4 November 2022, attracted more than 62,000 participants from over 115 countries.

The Talent Pavilion is a part of the Singapore Fintech Festival with an array of events, job opportunities, upskilling and reskilling courses over the course 3 days, from 2-4 November 2022. Together with Idea Ink Illustrations, JUNCTION Studio was tasked to create an interactive avatar map platform which spans 13.8m x 3.4m.

A QR code on the left and right side of the wall directs visitors to a questionnaire. This questionnaire allows them to share more about themselves, their interests and design their very own avatar. Once the questionnaire is completed, the avatar will appear on the wall and roam the map. The avatar will stop at the various financial institutions and stakeholders under the Talent Pavilion initiative. Visitors can then scan the QR codes that appear. At the end of the avatar journey, visitors will receive a newsletter via email that recaps their avatar’s journey with links to relevant opportunities and programmes.

The interactive avatar map presents an engaging way for visitors to learn about the multitude of information our clients have. At the same time, the interaction incentivizes visitors to complete the questionnaire, allowing our clients to learn more about the demographic of their visitors.
